my friend says her child is safe. she had been informed about the first incident and didn't go to campus. her roommates however were already on campus and spent several hours in lockdown.
Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right.

Happy to hear that your friend's daughter is safe. I can't imagine what you were going through waiting for the news. The event hit me like a ton of bricks and I have no direct connection to VT other than a few blog friends who are alumni
